Comma splice

A common punctuating mistake when an attempt is made to hold two completely independent sentences together to form one sentence.

e.g.

Instead of: I finally completed my thesis, it is ready for printing.

Add a connecting word

I finally completed my thesis, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 it is ready for printing.

Add a semi colon

I finally completed my thesis; it is ready for printing.
